ABOUT VM'S BRANDING
Elegance & minimalism were key points for their image, but the idea behind their brand identity was to transmit precisely the complexity of their matter: the data, which is so abstract but dense at the same time.
Data is information of all kinds and that’s the main concept developed. The “i” becomes the main focus and it’s graphically transformed to branded duotone patterns which wants to reproduce this graphical complexity of the data visualization and creating a flexible & playful branded system.
Data visualization consist in being able to see/decode very dense information. Information that is there but not many can see or read, and that's what happens with the logo, which is kind of a synthesized monogram, there is the “V”, very clear and also the “M”, now can you see it?
